The Videographer

When choosing a videographer, it is important to make sure it is a company/person who you feel comfortable with since they will be there with you and your guests throughout the day.  Our professional videographers are friendly and approachable so that you and your guests feel comfortable being on camera.  But, they are also unobtrusive so that they blend in with the crowd and do not distract from any of your special moments.

The Equipment

Our videographers will use Sony HDR FX-1 cameras to film your wedding.  This High-Definition, 3-chip, state of the art camera is a great asset to providing an excellent quality picture for your final video - whether you choose a Standard Package or upgrade to a Blu-Ray Package.  If you choose to upgrade to our Blu-Ray Packages, your wedding will be filmed in High-Definition and the final copy will be a Blu-Ray of your wedding!

The vows are the most important part of your  wedding.  Many times, the bride and groom speak their vows so quietly that the audience, and in-turn our cameras, cannot hear them.  Our videographers will provide the groom with a wireless lapel microphone that feeds directly to our camera.  This microphone is used during the ceremony to assure you that your vows will be heard on your video for you to watch and hear in the years to come.

The "Couple Cam"

The "Couple Cam" is a new addition to Encore Video Productions.  We will provide you with a small, pocket size video camera that you can use throughout the day.  This camera can film up to one hour's worth of footage and is a great way to see some candid moments such as the limo ride and the moments in the waiting rooms right before walking down the aisle.  We will then edit this footage into your video and it will add a whole new perspective to your wedding day!

Your Video

At Encore Video Productions, we pride ourselves on preserving your memories just the way that they happened.  Your wedding video will unfold with clips of the preparations at the church put to instrumental music that was used during your Ceremony.  Then it will seamlessly fade into your Ceremony, tastefully edited between the cameras.  After the Ceremony, it will proceed into the picture taking and excitement that takes place at the church, all carefully edited to another song that was an important part of your Ceremony or Reception.

Then we proceed to the second disc of your Customized Wedding Video - The Reception Disc.  Music brings together exterior and interior shots of your Reception site to set the mood, such as the outside marquee, cake, head table, and guest book.  Then you will get a glimpse of your guests during the cocktail hour.  Guests arriving. Friends talking.  You and your new husband arriving and seeing Aunt Susie for the first time in 10 years.  The Introductions then lead into the rest of this memorable night.  You will see the toasts, cake cutting, traditional dancing, and the bouquet and garter tosses.  Mixed in will be some of the ever popular open dancing, candid moments, and even your guests giving you some special wishes for only you to hear.  Finally, to end the night you will see you and your new spouse leaving your Reception to the tune of your first dance.

A La Carte Options

If you choose one of our extensive packages, you also will be receiving a photo montage and/or personalized recap video.  With a photo montage, you will choose 3 songs that represent you and your fiancĂ© growing up and meeting each other.  We will carefully edit 100 pictures of your choice to these three songs to create the story.

The recap video is many couples' favorite part of the final product.  What better way to show your friends your wedding day than with a 15-20 minute music video!  You will choose 4 songs with which we will use to create a music video documenting your day.  The first song will contain footage from your Ceremony.  Once the first song is complete, we will seamlessly fade to your vows so you can hear them as they happened.  Once the vows and rings are complete, the second song will commence to complete your Ceremony and highlight some of the picture taking and Reception atmosphere.  The second song ends with the start of your introductions.  You will see and hear your entire bridal party being introduced ending with you being introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs.  As you make your way to the head table, the third song fades in and we see the highlights of the main events at your Reception.  As the main events come to an end and the open dancing becomes the main event, your last song will begin showing you your guests dancing the night away.  At the end of the last song, you will see each other waving goodbye as you leave your Reception.

If you choose our highest package, you will also be receiving either coverage at the bride's home for an hour before the Ceremony or an additional location between the Ceremony and Reception.  These highlights will be put to an instrumental track of music to help things easily flow together but to enable you to hear everything that is going on during these memorable moments.

Packaging

All of our Packages (except for the Economy) include at least 2 DVD sets.  Within each DVD set, you will receive a Ceremony Disc and a Reception Disc.  Each video also includes custom titles, menus, and packaging - all with pictures from your wedding - to commemorate your day.
